Tonight will it be Delight in Dunston or a Barney in Barnoldswick? Penrith await the winners!

Tonight the UTS Stadium in Gateshead will host the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round replay between Dunston UTS and Barnoldswick Town. The winners will play Penrith at home in the next round and this will be my next stop on the Road to Wembley from Scotland.

I have been in touch with Barnoldswick Town about possible Scottish links between their club and Bonny Scotland and they have let me know that their manager Stewart Airdrie is a Yorkshire Scot! Sounds intriguing.

I may be back on twitter looking for more information about Stewart tomorrow depending on the result tonight. Alternatively I might be chasing up information about the links between Dunston UTS and Bella Caledonia. Only one of these teams will still be in the competition at 10.30pm tonight. That is the beauty and indeed the romance of the FA Cup. Good luck to both teams tonight. Whoever wins will have their work cut out against Penrith.
